APR excludes trading fees, price differences between venues and funding changes. Rates without a reported interval are assumed to be 8-hour.
How funding rate arbitrage works
Funding arbitrage is a delta-neutral trade: buy the perpetual on the exchange with the lowest funding and short it where funding is highest, collecting the difference while price exposure cancels out.
FAQ
How is the funding arbitrage APR calculated?
Each rate is converted to an hourly rate using its funding interval, then the gap between the highest and lowest is multiplied by 24 × 365.
Is funding arbitrage risk-free?
No. Fees, price gaps between exchanges, changing funding rates and liquidation risk on either leg can erase the spread.
